Sander Steins was born in April 1973 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He is a self-taught artist who works with varied media and is mainly interested in the rich and dark contrasts of our modern society. His sharp analytical view results in the translation to semi-abstract paintings and collages, which characterize his work.
At the moment he is concentrating on creating several new series around themes we will all need to deal with in the near future.
